Daly set for NASCAR Truck return with Kaulig entry at Indy

Kaulig Racing and Ram will bring Conor Daly back to NASCAR competition with a Craftsman Truck Series ride at Indianapolis next month.

Daly, an Indiana native, will be behind the wheel of the free agent truck, the No. 25, at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. It will be Daly’s seventh career start in the series, and his first since 2024.

“I’m pumped to get this opportunity at IRP,” said Daly. “Racing in front of the hometown crowd is always electric, and climbing into a Ram truck with Kaulig Racing for this race is going to be a blast. I know I’ll have a lot of folks cheering at IRP!”

Of the three starts Daly made in the series during the 2024 season, driving for Niece Motorsports, one of them was at Indianapolis. He qualified 35th and finished 29th. In his six career starts, Daly has a best career finish of 17th from Kansas Speedway.

Daly, who finished 12th last Sunday in the Indianapolis 500, has made 12 starts in NASCAR since 2018. In addition to his Craftsman Truck Series efforts, Daly has made three starts in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and three in the Cup Series.

The free agent program from Kaulig Racing and Ram is an entry for drivers across the motorsports landscape. Tony Stewart started the season in the truck, and others who have piloted it include Colin Braun, Travis Pastrana, Clint Bowyer, and Carson Ferguson.

Daly will be a teammate to the four other Kaulig Racing/Ram entries of Brenden Queen, Justin Haley, Mini Tyrell and Corey LaJoie.
