Siegel pushing forward with Arrow McLaren
Nolan Siegel gave a fuller account of his capabilities on Sunday at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach as the Californian rallied from 25th to 12th in the No. 6 Arrow McLaren Chevy.
Siegel’s run to 12th, which earned the “Biggest Mover” award for improving 13 positions, was his best result since July of 2025 when he placed 11th at Mid-Ohio.
"It was finally a day that went our way with the No. 6 SmartStop Arrow McLaren Chevrolet crew,” Siegel said. “It was what we needed, and I'm very proud of the group. It's been a tough weekend up until now, to be honest. That says a lot about the whole group and our performance today with what happened (in qualifying). I'm excited about what this means for the rest of the year.”
The 21-year-old complemented teammates Pato O’Ward who finished fifth and Christian Lundgaard who dealt with a tire puncture and placed 20th.
“There were plenty of days where I've felt that we were strong but just hadn't maximized what we had, and this feels good,” Siegel said. “On weekends as a whole where we qualify well and have a good Sunday, we'll be back racing up front.”
