IMSA YouTube channel tops NASCAR’s in number of subscribers

In another sign of IMSA’s growing outreach to the national and international motor racing community, the official IMSA YouTube channel has reached a significant subscriber milestone. It's not just the nearly 1.7 million subscribers but the fact that on Tuesday, IMSA’s subscriber count overtook that of its parent company NASCAR.

Fueled by the addition of live coverage of all IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship events in over 200 countries (excluding the U.S. and select European markets), as well as original series like "Win The Weekend" presented by Michelin and the "Endurance Hour Podcast," the official IMSA YouTube channel surpassed one million subscribers in August during the Motul SportsCar Grand Prix at Road America.

Currently, IMSA has 500,000 more subscribers than the FIA World Endurance Championship, whose channel sits at 1.2 million subscribers. That figure is almost as big as the gap between IMSA and the IndyCar Series’ official channel, sitting at roughly 471,000 subscribers.

The most recent IMSA Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach is now available to watch on YouTube in its entirety.
