Fallows returns to Red Bull family as Racing Bulls technical director
Dan Fallows has returned to the Red Bull Formula 1 setup as the new technical director at Visa Cash App Racing Bulls.
The British engineer had been head of aerodynamics at Red Bull – where he had worked for more than 15 years until 2022 – before he joined Aston Martin as technical director. Fallows was removed from the position in late 2024, and left the company entirely in early 2025. He will now join Racing Bulls as technical director, starting work in April of this year.
“I’m very pleased to be joining VCARB at an exciting time for the team,” Fallows said. “There is a clear vision and strong technical ambition, and I’m looking forward to working closely with Tim [Goss] and the wider engineering group to help drive performance and continue building the team for the future.”
Fallows will report into chief technical officer Goss, who has been one of the senior members taking on additional responsibilities since former technical director Jody Egginton moved from Racing Bulls to Red Bull Advanced Technologies last year.
Team principal Alan Permane welcomed the arrival of Fallows to strengthen Racing Bulls technical capabilities, as the team begins the new era of Formula 1 regulations with Red Bull Ford Powertrains this season.
“Dan has a wealth of experience, and his technical understanding and leadership will be a real asset to the team as we continue to develop and push forward competitively,” Permane said. “We’re delighted to welcome him to VCARB.”
