First of the year’s FOX Sports IndyCar driver commercials airs on this weekend’s NFL playoff games
FOX Sports’ IndyCar Series driver commercials launch this weekend as the National Football League opens its playoffs with Wild Card games set for Saturday and Sunday.
Fans can look for the first of four ads – one more than last season – produced by FOX Sports to make its television debut on Saturday as FOX airs the game between the Charlotte Panthers and Los Angeles Rams (4:30pm ET) and again on Sunday for the meeting between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers (4:30pm ET). Prior to Saturday’s game, the ad’s digital release will take place on the series’ and broadcaster’s social channels.
The three remaining commercials will be unveiled during the following weekends in January as the NFL playoffs on FOX progress with the Divisional Rounds and Conference Championships. The Super Bowl, which aired on FOX in 2025, moves to NBC in February.
RACER has learned the three drivers featured last year – Alex Palou, Josef Newgarden and Pato O’Ward – have carried over for 2026. New Andretti Global driver Will Power is understood to be the fourth member of the promo group which shot commercials in and around Los Angeles in December.
