NBC Sports confirms 2026 IMSA coverage schedule
NBC Sports has announced its 2026 schedule of IMSA television and streaming coverage, with more than 160 hours of racing action to be aired across NBC, Peacock, and the relaunched NBCSN.
Over 140 hours will be aired exclusively on the Peacock streaming platform, with NBC airing the start and finish of the 64th annual Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 24–25, and the start of the 29th Motul Petit Le Mans from Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta on Oct. 3.
NBC will also air live flag-to-flag coverage of four sprint races: The Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 18, the Detroit Grand Prix on May 30, the Michelin GT Challenge at VIRginia International Raceway on Aug. 23, and the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sept. 20.
Additionally, NBC and Peacock will present a 2026 season preview show which will air Saturday, Jan. 3 at 3:00pm ET, and a season review show on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 2:30pm ET.
Peacock will continue to serve as the exclusive streaming home of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the United States with flag-to-flag coverage of every race and qualifying session in 2026. Peacock will also offer streaming coverage of Michelin Pilot Challenge, VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, Porsche Carrera Cup North America and Mustang Challenge North America races on its platform.
The new NBCSN, which launched on Nov. 17 as a 24/7 linear network, will present simulstreamed coverage of select events including the final hours of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring and Motul Petit Le Mans, and flag-to-flag coverage of the Monterey SportsCar Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
NBC also confirmed that lead commentator Leigh Diffey and analysts Calvin Fish and Brian Till will return to lead the network’s IMSA coverage in 2026.
