Fox's IndyCar ratings hold firm in Milwaukee
IndyCar on FOX’s summer ratings run held firm with an average of 779,000 viewers for the network broadcast from Milwaukee where Ed Carpenter Racing’s Christian Rasmussen executed a thrilling pass of new champion Alex Palou to secure his first IndyCar Series victory.
The 779,000 figure marks the fifth consecutive IndyCar race on FOX to fall within the 700,000 range, the seventh out of the last eight races to deliver in the 700,000s, and the ninth overall race from 16 held in 2025 with an audience between 704,000 and 781,000.
Last year’s Milwaukee event was a doubleheader with the Saturday race placed on NBC’s Peacock streaming service, where an estimated audience of 125,000 viewers tuned in. The Sunday race on NBC’s USA Network cable channel produced 735,209 viewers, giving FOX a six percent gain with Sunday’s Snap-on 250 taken by Rasmussen.
FOX reports the race peaked at 854,000 viewers in the late stages of the event and says its year-to-year improvement has held at 28 percent with 1,376,000 average viewers for the 16 races compared to the 1,073,000 across 16 with NBC/USA/CNBC/Peacock in 2024.
