Siegel cleared to return for Toronto
Nolan Siegel will return to the cockpit of his No. 6 Arrow McLaren Chevy this weekend for the Honda Indy Toronto after receiving clearance from IndyCar Medical.
The 20-year-old experienced a hard hit when he crashed on Saturday at the first of the Sukup-sponsored Iowa Speedway doubleheaders and was ruled out for Sunday’s Race 2 by the series’ medical team.
"Missing out on Sunday’s race in Iowa was definitely tough, especially after qualifying fifth,” Siegel said. “After a week of rest and recovery, I’m looking forward to being back in the car. We’ve got a fresh SmartStop livery to debut, so I’m hoping we can put together a strong result and make it a good one for the whole crew."
