Rain delays opening WWTR practice

Rain prevented the running of opening NTT IndyCar Series practice Saturday morning at World Wide Technology Raceway. Despite the poor weather, showers have moved on and a rescheduled window for opening practice is being explored by the series.

With the busy two-day format for the Bommarito Automotive Group 500, Saturday is meant to be packed with practice, qualifying, and final practice ahead of the Sunday night race held in prime time on FOX.
