Chip Ganassi Racing reveals colorful new livery for Simpson entry
Chip Ganassi Racing is the latest IndyCar Series team to present its new colors for one of its entries.
Sophomore IndyCar driver Kyffin Simpson returns in the renumbered No. 8 Honda -- a change from the No. 4 used during his rookie campaign -- and has traded a muted corporate-minded livery for something that should stand out among the other cars.
“The refreshed colors and asymmetrical design reflect a bold new direction for Journie Rewards, which will once again serve as the primary partner of the No. 8 throughout 2025,” the team wrote.
Simpson added, “I’m really liking these new colors on the No. 8 Journie Rewards Honda. I think they’ll look really good on track and can’t wait for everyone to see them in St. Petersburg.”
