Norris joins Kaulig Racing
Ty Norris, a longtime executive in the NASCAR industry, has joined Kaulig Racing as its chief business officer.
Norris was previously the president of Trackhouse Racing. The Athletic reported earlier this week he had amicably departed the organization. He had been with Trackhouse since its inception in 2021.
In his new role at Kaulig Racing, Norris will “serve as the team’s chief business officer, focusing on partnerships and long-term strategy alongside owner Matt Kaulig and team president Chris Rice,” a statement from the team announcing the move read. “Bringing Norris and his wealth of knowledge to the executive team is one of the several major moves Kaulig and Rice are making to solidify the trajectory of its NASCAR Cup Series program well into the future.”
Norris has a background in journalism and as a publicist. His resume includes working with the late Dale Earnhardt at Dale Earnhardt Inc. as well as at Michael Waltrip Racing.
“We greatly appreciate the role Ty Norris has played in the creation and growth of Trackhouse Racing,” founder Justin Marks said. “We have a bright and exciting future thanks to his contributions. We wish our friend the best of luck.”
Kaulig Racing fields multiple entries in both the Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series.
