Myatt Snider still sells himself as a NASCAR driver, but things look different these days as he’s only made one start in 2024 and serves as a pit spotter for NBC Sports. Snider returns to The Racing Writer’s Podcast to discuss how hard it is to land deals, the emotions of being out of the car, and what goes into pit spotting and working with his dad, Marty Snider.
Kelly Crandall
Kelly has been on the NASCAR beat full-time since 2013, and joined RACER as chief NASCAR writer in 2017. Her work has also appeared in NASCAR.com, the NASCAR Illustrated magazine, and NBC Sports. A corporate communications graduate from Central Penn College, Crandall is a two-time George Cunningham Writer of the Year recipient from the National Motorsports Press Association.
