Cris Vandagriff's father bought a new McLaren M1A in the 1960s where it competed in the legendary Can-Am series, and after many decades, the car has returned to the Vandagriff family and is making its return to racing at Sonoma Raceway during the 2023 edition of the Velocity Invitational vintage event.
