Will Power (photo above) and Sébastien Bourdais are the 2019 additions to the Long Beach Motorsports Walk of Fame. The pair — both previous winners — will be honored in a Thursday morning ceremony downtown that officially kicks off the Acura Grand Prix NTT IndyCar Series weekend festivities.

The Motorsports Walk of Fame “honors the outstanding achievements of those who have made significant contributions to the sport of auto racing.” Previous honorees have been a mix of Long Beach-winning drivers and team owners, plus LBGP founder Chris Pook, who was added in 2007.

Open to the public and free, the Walk of Fame ceremony will be Thursday, April 11, at 11:00am., on South Pine Ave. in Long Beach’s downtown waterfront area, next to both the Convention Center and The Pike At Rainbow Harbor entertainment complex.

Discounted parking will be available at the nearby Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
