The Motorsports Walk of Fame "honors the outstanding achievements of those who have made significant contributions to the sport of auto racing.” Previous honorees have been a mix of Long Beach-winning drivers and team owners, plus LBGP founder Chris Pook, who was added in 2007.
Open to the public and free, the Walk of Fame ceremony will be Thursday, April 11, at 11:00am., on South Pine Ave. in Long Beach’s downtown waterfront area, next to both the Convention Center and The Pike At Rainbow Harbor entertainment complex.
Discounted parking will be available at the nearby Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
