Vincent's VW fastest in taking TC America to the streets
FCP Euro’s Nate Vincent made history, emerging fastest of all from the first official TCR street-course practice session in the U.S. in St. Petersburg, Fla. Vincent pushed his No. 72 Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR to a fast lap of 1m22.103s, narrowly edging FCP Euro teammate Michale Hurczyn (No. 71, 1m22.124s best).
James Walker (No. 34 Risi Competizione Alfa Romero Giulietta TCR) was third.
The No. 47 Alphasonic Motorsports Audi Sport RS3 LMS machine, driven by Alain Lauziere, posted the quickest lap among DSG-equipped machines with a 1m24.133s best. Second was Bryan Putt (No. 15 eEuroparts.com ROWE Racing Audi) with McCann Racing's Christian Cole (No. 27 Audi) third.
