Not in Las Vegas for the romp and circumstance of this week’s massive BFGoodrich Mint 400? Missing the unique experience of ExciteMINT? No worries, RACER.com has you covered.
Starting this Saturday morning, RACER.com will be airing an exclusive feed from the deserts outside of Las Vegas. The two-day format (Saturday and Sunday) will build on the storied event’s wildly successful live stream roll out that reached over a quarter of a million unique visitors in 2018. This year’s program will allow RACER.com fans to tune in on their computers and handheld devices from anywhere in the world to follow the “Great American Off-Road Race”.
For the first time since 1976, the motorcycles are returning to the Mint 400 and will start off the line at 7:00am on Saturday, followed by the limited four-wheel vehicles beginning at 1:00pm. On Sunday, four-wheel racing resumes at 6:00am with the Pro UTV Classes and more limited race vehicles. Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm will finish off a busy weekend with the 900 horsepower unlimited trucks competing for overall Mint 400 glory.
In keeping with Mint 400 tradition of recent years, production quality will mirror traditional broadcast levels including helicopters and drone covering remote parts of the course. On air talent will include off-road racing and motocross legend Ricky Johnson, off-road cultural icon Bob Bower, Ultra4 competitor and KOH announcer Jim Marsden, and roving pit reporter Tiffany Stone.
RACER.com will continue Mint 400 coverage all week, with special reports and exclusive live streaming right from Las Vegas. Stay tuned for more from the “Great American Off-Road Race.”
