Sadler to make Xfinity return with Kaulig
Elliott Sadler will run two Xfinity Series races for Kaulig Racing.
Sadler, 43, retired from full-time NASCAR competition at the end of the 2018 season after spending the last three seasons with JR Motorsports. With Kaulig, Sadler will drive the No. 10 Chevrolet with sponsorship from Nutrien Ag Solutions. His first race will be April 12th at Richmond Raceway followed by fall race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
"I said I would only return to the racetrack if the right opportunity came along, and this is it,” said Sadler. “I’m thrilled to partner with Nutrien Ag Solutions and Kaulig Racing for these two races and team up with Ross Chastain behind the wheel of the No. 10 Chevy."
Kaulig plans to run the No. 10 for over half of the Xfinity Series schedule. Ross Chastain is driving the car in three races. He started the year with a 13th-place finish at Daytona and will be back behind the wheel at Charlotte in May and then Texas in November. Austin Dillon is driving the car this weekend in Las Vegas.
Sadler is a 13-time winner in the Xfinity Series with 395 starts to date.
“We are so excited to have Elliott drive for us at Kaulig Racing,” said Kaulig Racing president, Chris Rice. “Elliott and I grew up racing together at South Boston Speedway, so to have him race for us at his home track is special."
