Lotterer to miss Sebring; Beche moves to No. 1 Rebellion

Rebellion Racing has revealed that Mathias Beche will sub for former WEC champion and multiple Le Mans winner Andre Lotterer in its No. 1 R-13 in the Sebring 1000 Miles next month.

Beche (pictured below) had been racing in the team’s No. 3 car, which won overall at Silverstone, but moves over to the sister car after it was announced that Nathanaël Berthon will race in his former seat.

Lotterer is set to miss the WEC race in the US -- the first WEC round he's missed since 2012 -- because of what Rebellion says is a schedule clash with  a Formula E simulator test. Lotterer is in his second Formula E season with DS Techeetah.

The team has confirmed that its full line-up for the race is now Bruno Senna, Neel Jani and Beche in the No. 1, and Thomas Laurent, Gustavo Menezes and Berthon in the No. 3.
