Alonso, Johnson enjoy car swap day in Bahrain
Fernando Alonso and Jimmie Johnson had a lot of fun and enlightenment Monday at Bahrain International Circuit, trading each other's regular Formula 1 and NASCAR roles before ended their play day with dueling donuts.
Johnson drove a 2013 Formula 1 McLaren, while Alonso drove one of Johnson’s No. 48 Chevrolet Cup cars on the Bahrain road circuit.

This marked the third time NASCAR and F1 drivers have swapped rides. Jeff Gordon and Juan Pablo Montoya traded Hendrick NASCAR and Williams F1 cars in 2003 at Indianapoli, while Lewis Hamilton and Tony Stewart and swapped rides cars at Watkins Glen in 2011.
