Skip Barber Racing School recently announced that they have added dates at Sebring International Raceway in early 2019.
Kicking off right after the 12 Hours of Sebring in March, Skip Barber will be offering a full 5 day SCCA Competition Licensing course starting March 18. Schools will be offered through the end of April and will feature a full complement of racing and driving schools including the 1 Day Racing School, 3 Day Racing School, 2 Day Advanced Racing School, 1 Day Driving School and the new driver training Teen Safety and Survival program.
“We are excited to be bringing the school back to Sebring next year. Throughout the years, Skip Barber has trained tens of thousands of drivers at this historic venue,” Skip Barber CEO, Anthony DeMonte said. “The myriad of track configurations, and ample car control areas make this facility ideal for training drivers at all skill levels.”
Nestled among the orange groves and cattle ranches of Central Florida, Sebring’s 3.74 17-turn circuit is one of the toughest in the world. Originally a B-17 bomber training base constructed in 1941, the facility has hosted sports car racing since 1950.
