NASCAR sets 2019 Xfinity, Truck Series schedules

The 2019 schedules for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the renamed Gander Outdoors Truck Series were released by NASCAR on Wednesday and they closely mirror what many are already accustomed to seeing.

Both series will again join the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series by starting the year at Daytona International Speedway in February. Their seasons will also still end together at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November.

The Gander Outdoors Truck Series will see two changes. The summer dirt race at Eldora Speedway will be later in the year and run on a Thursday, Aug. 1. One of the series’ races from Texas Motor Speedway, the November date, has now been moved to March as NASCAR shortens the spring break in the schedule.
