Conor Daly has secured a seat with Thom Burns Racing for this year’s Indy 500, the team has let slip on social media.
The team mistakenly posted an announcement on Twitter but deleted it immediately.
As first reported by RACER, Daly will pilot the No.17 U.S. Air Force entry. Formal confirmation is expected at 2 p.m. ET.
It will mark the fifth Indy 500 start for the 26-year-old from Noblesville, who finished a personal-best 22nd at IMS last year for A.J. Foyt Racing.
