Reigning WEC LMP2 champion Bruno Senna will complete United Autosports’ lineup for the 2018 Rolex 24 at Daytona, joining Will Owen, Hugo de Sadeleer and Paul Di Resta in one of the team’s two Ligier JS P217s.

Senna competed in the North American Endurance Cup with Tequila Patron ESM in 2017, finishing seventh in class at Daytona with teammates Ed Brown, Johannes van Overbeek and Brendon Hartley.

“I’m very excited to join United Autosports on this challenge for Daytona,” said Senna, who has raced everything from Formula E to the Blancpain Endurance Series since his Formula 1 exit in 2012. “It’s an incredibly accomplished team and with the experience from 2017, great technical talent, as well as the incredibly strong driver line-up, we should be up for a good fight right from the start.”

Added United Autosports team owner and chairman Zak Brown: “I’m thrilled we have completed our Rolex 24 At Daytona line up and that Bruno will be joining the team. He’s a fantastic driver and a proven race and championship winner so will be a great asset to our team.”

Fernando Alonso, Lando Norris and Phil Hanson will pilot the second United Autosports entry.
