The Mid-States Conference has fashioned its 2018 SCCA U.S. Majors Tour competition schedule. A total of six weekends, 12 races in all, make up the current calendar.
The Mid-States Conference gets going in early April at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in Oklahoma. Stops are then made in Kansas and Iowa before heading to Colorado for the conference’s last three events. At least one Mid-States Conference weekend may be named a Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour race date at a later time. The calendar below is subject to change, but is currently comprised of the following:
April 7-8: Hallett Motor Racing Circuit; Jennings, Oklahoma
(Dual Mid-States Conf./Southern Conf. Event)
April 28-29: Heartland Park Topeka; Topeka, Kansas
May 19-20 Iowa Speedway; Newton, Iowa
May 26-27: Pueblo Motorsports Park; Pueblo, Colorado
July 7-8: High Plains Raceway; Deer Trail, Colorado
August 25-26: High Plains Raceway; Deer Trail, Colorado
Schedules for the remaining SCCA U.S. Majors Tour Conferences will be published as they are finalized. Only SCCA Full Competition and SCCA Pro Racing License holders may register for the U.S. Majors Tour or Hoosier Super Tour series. Again this year, both the U.S. Majors Tour and Hoosier Super Tour serve as pathways to the 2018 SCCA National Championship Runoffs being held this year at Sonoma Raceway in California.
