The 2017 SCCA National Championship Runoffs, now through Oct. 1, will be different from any other in the event's history. The 54th edition of the Runoffs will take place at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and nearly 1,000 drivers will compete for 28 national championships.
Jeff Zurschmeide, longtime contributor to RACER.com and SPORTSCAR Magazine, is covering the SCCA Runoffs this week and spends some time talking to RACER.com about what a gas it is to be at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
