
Patrick won't return to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2018
Danica Patrick has announced she will not be returning to Stewart-Haas Racing next season.
Through a statement on her Facebook page, Patrick says: "It has been my honor to drive for Tony Stewart, Gene Haas and everyone at Stewart-Haas Racing for the past six seasons. Together we earned a Daytona 500 pole, seven top-10 finishes and we also had some exciting racing along the way. My time driving for them, however, has come to an end due to a new sponsorship arrangement in 2018.

Patrick joined SHR in 2013 when she moved into the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. She has driven for the company in each of her five full seasons, finishing a career-best 24th in points the last two years. In her 170 starts with SHR, Patrick has seven top-10 finishes and one career pole.
