Ferrari 312T4 F1 warms up for Monterey

Ferrari's 3.0-liter flat-12 Formula 1 engine delivered six wins for 1979 world champion Jody Scheckter and his teammate Gilles Villeneuve in the back of Maranello's 312T4 chassis.

Nearly 40 years after its time in F1 came to an end, Villeneuve's car is still in action on the vintage racing circuit, where we captured this brief but glorious warm-up and drive-off before it goes into action at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
