
Ratcliff's future at JGR uncertain after 2017
In addition to a new driver in the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Camry next year, there will also be a new crew chief.
Jason Ratcliff, who has been paired with Matt Kenseth since Kenseth joined the organization in 2013, confirmed to NBCSN he would not oversee the team next year. Kenseth finished fourth Sunday at New Hampshire.

Now, Ratcliff says he won't be the crew chief of the car and according to NBC Sports, is not sure he will remain with the company.After winning Sunday's race with Denny Hamlin, team owner Joe Gibbs mentioned the changing landscape of the organization and "it puts you in a situation where you have to make a tough decision.
"We did not want to do that. Certainly didn't want to – we didn't want to do something to upset Matt. He's been a great partner for us, and our drivers. Everybody said, we don't want to race against him. I think that's what's going to happen."
Gibbs continued: "It was just a tough situation for us. Things changed, and the we got forced into making a decision."
To date, Kenseth has 14 wins with Joe Gibbs Racing. Following New Hampshire, he holds the final spot on the playoff grid by 52 points.
