Kyle Busch announces Xfinity retirement plan
Retirement is not that far off for Kyle Busch. Xfinity Series retirement, that is.
Busch revealed on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio after winning the Overton's 200 Saturday afternoon he will be done with Xfinity competition when he hits a magic number. Right now, Busch is the winningest driver in the series with 89 career wins.

"I thought today was 90, but I just got 88 last week [at Kentucky], so I don't know why I forget that, but hopefully next week [Indianapolis] is 90 and we can continue this on," Busch said. "Retirement is fast approaching; looking forward to that."
But when exactly will that be?
"When I get to 100 Xfinity wins, I'm done," said Busch.
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has won in three of his six Xfinity Series starts this season, including Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Because of NASCAR's new rule that limits Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regulars with more than five years experience to just 10 Xfinity races a season, Busch won't reach the record this season.
Should he win in his final four starts, that would put him at 93 career wins. Next year, if NASCAR keeps the same rule, it would be possible for Busch to reach the 100-win mark.
"I mean, I'll do it on occasion for Joe [Gibbs] if he asked me as a favor because he wants to assess where his team's at," Busch said when asked if he truthfully would be done at 100 wins. "But other than that, I'm done."
Busch won the Xfinity Series championship in 2009.
