Sellers leads final PWC practice at Long Beach

Bryan Sellers was fastest in a 30-minute Saturday morning practice session at Long Beach.

Sellers clocked in at 1m20.630s, followed by Alec Udell's Porsche GT3R just .005 seconds off the pace. Magnus Racing's Pierre Kaffer (1m20.800s), Wright Motorsports' Patrick Long (1m20.936s) and last year's race winner Alvaro Parente (1m20.967s) rounded out the top five in GT.

The PWC cars were the first on track Saturday morning after overnight rain, although the track was mostly dry save for a few wet spots around Turns 9, 10 and 11. Alvaro Parente's 2016 record qualifying time of 1m18.947s is expected to be challenged.

Adderly Fong's Bentley Continental GT3 made contact at the tail end of the session, bringing out the only caution.

K-PAX Racing's Mike Hedlund was fastest in GTA qualifying.

NEXT UP: Qualifying, 9:30 a.m. Due to the extended practice session, both GT and GTA will qualify simulataneously.
