Maugueri gets early jump on PWC season

Cameron Maugeri is set to get an early jump on the 2017 Pirelli World Challenge racing season as KRUGSPEED Racing has begun preparing a new Porsche Cayman GT4 for the  GTS Championship. The plans for Maugeri to race the 2017 PWC Touring Car Championship remain unchanged as he will still be behind the wheel of the No. 72 Lotus Exige starting at Virginia International Raceway in April.

The Florida-based driver has yet to announce any other plans for the new No. 7 Porsche but it is clear that he has plans of being a major force in PWC TC championship this season. In addition to gaining seat time at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Maugeri previously participated in the four-hour BMW Endurance Challenge at Daytona International Speedway in January.

Catch Maugeri and KRUGSPEED in action March 9-10 at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg which will be broadcast live at

on Friday and Saturday.
