Juncos reveals Maserati program for PWC
Ricardo Juncos will continue the rapid expansion of his Indiana-based open-wheel team with a new Pirelli World Challenge series program. At the same time Juncos Racing is preparing to join the Verizon IndyCar Series for the 101st Indianapolis 500, the Argentinian will also make his first foray into sports car racing with a multi-car Maserati effort in PWC's GTS class.

Running the Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4s will come at the expense of Juncos Racing's championship-winning Pro Mazda effort, but the crew from the open-wheel program is expected to spearhead the PWC program.
"We are not going to run Pro Mazda this year for the first time in eight years of having four cars," Juncos told RACER. "I built this Pro Mazda team over the years, and we have six full-time employees forever, and I don't want to [lose] those people. We have GT4 cars [from] Maserati we tested last week and we intend to do some races in Pirelli World Challenge. That's something else we'll be doing soon."
Along with the new PWC and IndyCar programs, Juncos Racing will continue its presence in the Mazda Road to Indy in Indy Lights where it won the 2015 title with Spencer Pigot.
