IHRA Throwback Thursday: GoPro camera loses a fight

This is a quickie, but it's worth watching: the Paton Racing Top Fuel Dragster making a pass at Grand Bend Raceway in Canada during last year's IHRA Canadian Nationals.

The video, taken by a GoPro camera mounted just under the rear wing, shows a crystal-clear shot of the burnout and the staging, but when driver Todd Paton presses the loud pedal to the floor, the poor GoPro shows just how fast 240mph is.

The fact that the GoPro survived is a testament to its durability, but its only as good as the camera mount.
