IMSA: Turner Motorsport BMWs back to GTD
Coming off a season where BMW specialists Turner Motorsport earned the brand's first North American win with the M6 GT3, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GT Daytona program continues to search for those who will complete its 2017 lineup.

The Massachusetts-based outfit confirmed it will continue with its BMW M6 GT3s in GTD, but the rotation behind the wheel at Daytona and the other stops on the tour has yet to be solidified after losing Turner veterans Michael Marsal and Bret Curtis.
"With such a great season under our belt with the M6 GT3, we plan to continue the success into 2017 with all that we learned in 2016," said team owner Will Turner. "Both Michael Marsal and Bret Curtis have chosen to step away from racing in 2017 to focus on their growing businesses. So we are now seeking new funded drivers to continue our efforts and program into 2017 and beyond."
In addition to its IMSA program, Turner will field a trio of BMWs in the Pirelli World Challenge Series, and like its M6 GT3s, the teams is working on cementing its plans for the BMW M235iRs.
"We are very excited about the M235iR program in the Pirelli World Challenge," Turner said. "It's amazing how much interest we have had in these cars and this program so I'm looking forward to finalizing our driver line up and getting to work for the 2017 season which will be here before we know it."
