Foust, McQuarrie headline CLP's Thunderhill entry

CLP Motorsports, winners of the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in their 2015 team debut in the NP01 Prototype Class, announced their all-star driver line-up for the 2016 race on December 3-4.

The CLP team includes three-time Global Rallycross and two-time Formula Drift champion Tanner Foust; seven-time 25 Hours of Thunderhill winner Tyler McQuarrie; 2016 Petit Le Mans winner Marc Miller; 2016 24 Hour Barcelona A-6-AM class winner Tom Dyer and veteran racer/owner Pat O'Keefe. The team will go for a victory repeat in the ES Class with CLP Motorsports' new Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo.

"We've got a strong team of drivers – each one experienced and having what it takes to overcome the grueling challenge of the 25," O'Keefe said. "We demonstrated great teamwork and stamina for the win last year – we're looking forward to pushing the envelope again and stepping up to the ES Class."

"I'm thrilled to be joining my friends at the CLP Motorsports in this year's NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill," Dyer echoed. "Last year was a great time and we achieved an excellent result together. I'm stoked they're doing it again and asked me back to be a part of their effort this year. Pat and Tyler have created a great team where their motto has been "Race Everything!" which I think is super cool and I'm completely envious. I can't think of a better way to cap off the 2016 racing season than to join CLP and take another stab at seeking glory in the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill."
