In an emotional video segment leading up to his Dancing With the Stars tango with dance partner Sharna Burgess – for which he received the highest judges’ score of the night – James Hinchcliffe talks about the brutal crash at Indy in 2015 that almost took his life, interspersed with interviews with James' parents and the trauma surgeon who helped save his life, Dr. Timothy Pohlman, who has since become a personal friend to the Verizon IndyCar Series racer.
