IHRA: Throwback Thursday - New Zealand Nationals

Earlier this week, we took a look at IHRA Down Under, the sanctioning body's initiative to help organize drag racing in Australia and New Zealand.

The basics are, of course, the same everywhere, but in this well-produced summary of last March's IHRA New Zealand Nationals at Meremere Dragway, you'll see some very familiar-looking cars and motorcycles, and some that aren't so familiar. Several of the cars we see making passes look like a real handful.

And in a tip of the hat to its American cousins, there's even a jet funny car.
