PWC: Klenin to field McLaren 570S GT4 in 2017

Klenin Performance Racing has announced the purchase of a McLaren 570S GT4 racecar to compete in the Pirelli World Challenge GTS/GT4 class for the 2017 season.

"This opportunity is beyond exciting for me and my team," said owner-driver Mark Klenin. "To be a part of the McLaren family and drive one of these fantastic machines is a dream come true." said Mark.

The team expects to take delivery of the car in January, with the aim of being ready for the season opener at St. Petersburg in March.

Klenin Performance Racing will continue to utilize the services of Jackson Stewart and Unitech Racing, Inc. to campaign the car for the full upcoming season, as well as the extensive testing throughout the winter.

"I am pleased to continue our relationship with Mark Klenin and Klenin Performance Racing for the upcoming 2017 season. We have made great progress in both the 2015 and 2016 seasons and the addition of the McLaren 570S GT4 to the equation will be another step in the right direction," said Stewart.
