UPDATED TV Ratings: IndyCar Mid-Ohio, NASCAR Pocono, F1 Germany
Bad weather is usually bad news for auto racing, but sometimes it can actually help in terms of TV audience. Take the case of Pocono's rained-out NASCAR race and its knock-on effects:

Season-to-date, live streams of NASCAR coverage have drawn 241,000 unique users and 26.7 million live minutes via the NBC Sports app and NBCSports.com, up 24% and 60%, respectively, from the same period in 2015 according to the network.
The telecast of the race on NBCSN averaged 1.5m viewers.
Because of the early end to its Sunday NASCAR coverage, NBCSN aired its replay of the IndyCar race (live on CNBC, where it averaged 202,000 viewers) at Mid-Ohio earlier in the day than originally planned and, once again benefitting from the strong NASCAR lead-in, the telecast drew an 0.55 rating and averaged 811,000 viewers.
UPDATE: NBC announced that the simulcast of the race on NBCSN and CNBC delivered 929,000 viewers to rank as NBC Sports Group's most-watched IndyCar race ever, since acquiring rights prior to the 2009 season.
