NASCAR UPDATE: Racing underway at Pocono
The rain-delayed Pennsylvania 400 at Pocono is underway about 24 hours after its scheduled start. Monday's start time was pushed back yet again as damp conditions persisted, creating weepers on the track surface. NASCAR officials started prerace ceremonies at 11:50 a.m. ET and got underway around 12:15 p.m.
There is still a chance of pop-up showers during the second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series round of 2016 at Pocono, which was moved to Monday at 11 a.m. ET. due to Sunday's persistent rain, wet track conditions and lack of track lighting.
