PWC: Injured driver De La Torre leaves hospital
Pirelli World Challenge driver Jorge De La Torre has been released from the hospital and returned home to Texas after being treated for multiple injuries
suffered in a crash with Andrew Palmer at Lime Rock Park
on May 28."I want to thank everyone for having me in their thoughts and prayers," De La Torre said. "I also want to thank my race team, fellow drivers, Aston Martin Racing and the Pirelli World Challenge Series for all their support. A special thank you to my parents for supporting me since day one. With the help of physical therapy, I look forward to returning to the series soon."
Per the most recent update from the series on May 31, Palmer remains in the hospital.
