FE: Abt accepts blame for di Grassi's lost win

The Abt Audi Sport Formula E team has taken responsibility for the issue that led to Lucas di Grassi losing his Mexico City win for being underweight.
Di Grassi was disqualified following post-race scrutineering in Mexico, with his first car coming in 1.8kg (4lb) under the minimum weight limit. Abt chose not to appeal the decision and initially admitted it had no explanation for the issue, but has now "accepted responsibility for the mistake."
The disqualification ended di Grassi's 100 percent podium run in the 2015-'16 season and meant he lost his points lead. He is now 22 points behind Sebastien Buemi.
"Being disqualified in Mexico was obviously a setback in the fight for the title," said di Grassi. "My team has dealt precisely with the circumstances and will do everything in its power to prevent this happening ever again.
"The issue is now closed for me and I'm only looking forward now: six races, a good 150 points – there is plenty to aim for and our ambition remains unbroken. In Mexico we lost together, the next time we'll win together again."
