F1: Ultra-soft to make debut In Monaco

Pirelli's new ultra-soft compound will make its Formula 1 debut at this year's Monaco Grand Prix.
The softest of Pirelli's five dry compounds is one of the three being made available for F1's prestige event on May 26-29. Aside from the ultra-soft, the teams will also be able to choose from the super-soft and soft in making up the 13 sets of tires required for the race.
The ultra-soft is also the tire Pirelli has assigned for the final part of qualifying, while the super-soft and soft must be available for the race, with each driver needing to use at least one of them during the grand prix.
A number of teams took the opportunity to trial the ultra-soft during the pre-season tests at Barcelona's Catalunya circuit, providing positive feedback.
