US F4: Czaczyk set for Leading Edge

Leading Edge Grand Prix has announce that Konrad Czaczyk (LEFT) has joined its team for the 2016 FIA F4 United States Championship. Konrad joins fellow teammates Robbie Pecorari and Moises De la Vara in the hunt for the Series Championship.

"Konrad is a talented young man and has proved himself last year in the Skip Barber Race Series," said team manager Mark Weida. "We are all looking forward to helping him grow his skills."

Konrad commented, "I'm hugely thankful to everyone at Leading Edge Grand Prix for helping us make this happen. To be racing with a team as diverse and experienced as this is a real honor, and I look forward to our cooperation as we face everything this new Formula 4 championship can throw at us. The FIA F4 platform has proven highly successful at developing and highlighting talent worldwide, and I look forward to the opportunity to take part in such a series myself, here in the U.S."

Czaczyk is a second generation Polish-American race driver who got into the sport from his father's amateur racing operation. In 2015, Konrad showed great promise in the Skip Barber Racing Series claiming three wins, eight podiums and two pole positions. He also finished second in last year's Skip Barber Shootout and has three years of karting experience behind him with multiple wins and podiums in both Rotax Jr. and Rotax Sr. in the U.S. and Poland.

Leading Edge Grand Prix is a multicar team in the FIA F4 United States Championship led by Weida, a six-time championship-winning engineer. Leading Edge GP Team members are some of the best in the sport with experience in Formula 1, Indycar, GP2, GP3 and ALMS.
