PWC: BERG Racing welcomes new and returning partners for 2016

BERG Racing, an automotive performance and racing shop based in Webster, New York will enter the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge Championships in association with REDCOM Laboratories, Inc.

The team has added Fuse Lenses and Regenxx Cayman to the program, alongside Dr. Jared Salinsky of Trinity, Fla., driver of the #16 Mazda MX-5 TCA class entry.

"BERG Racing is very happy to have 'Dr. Jay' on board as an expansion of our team," said John Weisberg, BERG Racing team owner. "In only his second year of racing, Jared has shown great promise as a developing talent in American professional sports car racing."

In addition to returning partners VP Racing Fuel, Redline Oil and OMP Safety, BERG Racing wishes to welcome Power Brake and Powerflex Bushings to the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge Championships.

Powerflex will join as a partner of the #5 and #40 Mazda MX-5 TC class entries driven respectively by IMSA Lites champion and BERG Racing team owner John Weisberg, and Dinah Weisberg, Executive Vice President of REDCOM Laboratories, and wife to John.

In addition to on-track action, BERG Racing will become a distributor of Powerflex Bushings for street and customer race cars.

"We are very excited to become a Powerflex Bushing retailer," said John Weisberg. "It's always great to partner with a company that likes to showcase their product on the race track, and that's why we felt moving to Powerflex Bushings was a natural choice to benefit not only our race team, but our clients as well."

BERG Racing's second full season in the Pirelli World Challenge Championships begins March 3rd, 2016 at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas.
