On Tuesday, January 19, 2015, another milestone was reached in the $400 million DAYTONA Rising project. After receiving its temporary certificate of occupancy just one week prior, the final stadium seats were installed.

The certificate, which allowed Daytona International Speedway's staff to begin moving into the facility and fully prepare for the upcoming season, signified the approaching realization of reimagining project that has been over two years in the making.

A special installation ceremony was held to commemorate the final seat installation. ISC Chairman Jim France assisted longtime Daytona International Speedway season ticket holder Ted Swartzlander with the installation of his seats.

The debut event for DAYTONA Rising will be the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut event, the 54th Rolex 24 At Daytona on Saturday, January 30, 2015. Coverage will begin at 2 p.m. ET on FS1.
