Rally Driver award goes to Ogier

World Rally champion Sebastien Ogier was crowned Rally Driver of the Year at the Autosport Awards.

Ogier romped to a third straight WRC title in 2015, taking the championship in Australia in September with three events to go, with his seventh victory of the season. The French driver won the finale in Wales to take his tally to eight for the year and 32 in his career.

It is the third time Ogier has received the prize, and follows Volkswagen's Polo R WRC being named Rally Car of the Year.

"It's a great honor, especially as it's the third time in a row for me," said Ogier, who was unable to attend the event, in a video message.
