
WEC: 9-race 2016 calendar confirmed
The FIA World Motorsport Council has confirmed its World Endurance Championship series will expand from eight to nine rounds next year. Questions regarding Circuit of The Americas remaining on the schedule, and the addition of Mexico to the calendar, were settled with the inclusion of both stops for the globe-trotting sports car series.
