This wasn’t quite as bad. The track is really wet. There are rivers down through the esses and on the last corner, but everybody is in the same boat. Everybody is driving the same racetrack. For us, third’s a good spot to start for (a 10-hour race). Really, first or fifth, you could be anywhere and still have great chance to win, but I think third’s a good spot for us. You always want to go out for the pole and I like driving in the rain, but we struggled a little bit with the car today. We made a couple of changes. The car was just really, really loose. You don’t really want really loose around here, especially in the wet. I just tried to keep it on the black stuff. One thing we didn’t need was to be fixing the car all night and coming in with a wounded car in the morning. I think we did what we needed to do and we’ll take a look at it and see what we can do tonight for the race tomorrow. I’m never excited about third place because I want to be on the pole, but it’s a 10-hour race and we’re starting in the top three. We’ll be good.”SCOTT PRUETT: “We'll take it. The car is working pretty good, even in these tough conditions. We were second quick this morning, and now third. The key tomorrow is that no one really knows what we'll be facing hour by hour, and it's a long, long race. There's a lot involved in a race like this, and even more strategy involved when you don't know what the weather will be like throughout the day because of the decisions you have to make on wet or dry tires and how you have to approach the track. But we're ready.”
