SCCA: 2017 Runoffs announcement expected soon
SCCA officials are downplaying reports regarding the host venue for the 2017 Runoffs.
"We've not yet announced our destination for 2017," said the SCCA's Reece White. "When we have an announcement to make, we'll most certainly let you know."
A formal announcement regarding the 2017 event is expected in the coming days. Earlier this week the club confirmed that the 2016 Runoffs will be held between
September 19-25 at Mid-Ohio
; the venue that set the record for the largest-ever Runoffs when it had 709 cars competing in 2004.
